Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 19, 2026

Content Calendar HQ ("we," "us," or "the Site") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit contentcalendarhq.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

What information do we collect?

Content Calendar HQ is a static content site, and we collect limited personal information. If you submit an email sign-up form, we collect the email address you choose to share and send it to our email service provider, Kit, so we can deliver the requested resource and related updates. Separately, we receive limited technical information automatically, such as your browser type, device, and the pages you visit, which our infrastructure provider processes to serve and secure the Site. We do not ask for, and you should never send us, sensitive personal data such as government IDs or payment card numbers.

Do we use cookies?

We use a small number of cookies that are necessary for the Site to work, including security and content-delivery cookies set by our infrastructure provider, Cloudflare. These keep the Site fast and protect it from abuse. Where we use optional analytics, it is described below. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies or local storage for analytics. Google Analytics, when enabled and accepted, uses first-party cookies such as _ga. We store your analytics choice in local storage so the Site can remember it. You can revisit that choice through “Analytics choices” in the footer and can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings.

How do we use your information?

We use the information we collect to deliver and improve the Site, respond to your requests, send resources or updates you have asked for, and keep the Site secure. We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data to build advertising profiles about you.

Email subscriptions

We use Kit (formerly ConvertKit) to process email sign-ups. When you submit a form, your email address is sent to Kit and associated with the relevant Content Calendar HQ form. We use it to deliver the resource or updates you requested. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe option, and you can opt out at any time. Kit processes this information under its own Kit privacy notice.

Analytics

We aim to keep measurement limited and do not use analytics data to build advertising profiles. Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled to provide aggregate page-traffic and performance measurements. Cloudflare states that this product does not use cookies, local storage, or fingerprinting to track individuals.

The Site can also use Google Analytics 4 (“GA4”) to measure page visits and a small set of actions such as template downloads, email-form success, affiliate link clicks, and clicks to cited evidence. We do not send email addresses, names, or other form values to GA4. The Google tag is blocked unless you select “Accept analytics.” If you decline, no GA4 tag is loaded and no analytics data is sent to Google. You can change your choice later through “Analytics choices” in the footer. When enabled with consent, GA4 may process page URLs, referrers, browser/device information, approximate location derived during collection, and the approved event parameters described above. Google describes its processing and controls in its privacy documentation.

Bot protection

The email sign-up form may use Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish legitimate submissions from automated abuse. When enabled, the browser receives the Turnstile widget from Cloudflare and our server validates its short-lived token with Cloudflare before sending an email address to Kit. We do not place the Turnstile secret in browser code. Cloudflare describes its processing in its Cloudflare privacy notice.

Service providers and subprocessors

Kit processes email addresses and subscription status for the optional email bonus. Cloudflare provides site delivery, cookie-free Web Analytics, access protection, and—when enabled—Turnstile bot verification. Google processes GA4 measurements only when GA4 is configured and the visitor accepts optional analytics. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments only for the services we configure. We do not sell the email list or give providers permission to use it for their independent advertising.

Advertising

We do not currently display third-party advertising on the Site. If we introduce advertising, we will disclose the ad networks involved and how their cookies work before any ads are served.

Affiliate disclosure

We do not currently publish affiliate links. If that changes, qualifying links will be clearly disclosed where they appear, and the relationship will also be described in our Affiliate Disclosure. An affiliate relationship will not determine our editorial assessment.

The Site links to third-party websites, such as the scheduling tools we review. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site you visit.

Data retention and security

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected or until you unsubscribe, subject to limited records that Kit or we must retain for security, suppression, or legal purposes. We use reasonable technical measures, including HTTPS encryption and access controls, to protect information, though no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of certain uses. This includes rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and, for visitors in the European Economic Area and the UK, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.

Children's privacy

The Site is intended for a general, professional audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Site evolves or as laws change. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be highlighted on the Site.
